The Mantis Study Group Home Page
On the 18th of May 1996 the inaugural meeting of the Mantid Study Group was held at Dudley Zoo in the UK. Interested parties from allover Britain were present, including myself, and the basic structure of the society was confirmed. The society aims to facilitate communication between member enthusiasts, allowing better distribution of nymphs, ootheca and males where necessery as well as fostering the study of Mantids whenever possible. Shortly after that I set up this website but I never had the time to do much with it, now there is a new MSG Website.
Newsletter
The MSG is aimed to produce 2 newsletters before Christmas 1996, and 4 per year after that. However interest seems to have dwindled after the turn of the century and now there is no newsletter, but there is the hope of an electronic one, to learn more visit the Mantis Study Group Home Page.
