What types of custom diamonds are available at Brilliant Earth?
We offer diamonds in a wide range of shapes and cuts. If your desired shape isn't available, we can grow and cut a custom lab diamond for you. Most shapes, whether it’s a flower or your favorite animal, can be created.
How long does it take to get a different cut diamond at Brilliant Earth?
For in-stock diamonds, expect delivery in at most 6 to 8 weeks.
How long does it take to grow a custom diamond?
Growing a custom diamond takes about 4 weeks, with an additional 2 weeks for cutting and polishing.
How much does it cost to grow a custom diamond?
Costs vary based on the diamond's shape, size, and specifications. Our experts will provide a quote after understanding your vision.
Can I set my custom diamond with my favorite BE setting?
We'll work to set your custom diamond in your favorite setting, though it depends on its unique shape and size.
Do I get to view my diamond before committing to purchase?
Ready-made diamonds meeting your request can be viewed before purchase, but custom cuts cannot. A 50% deposit is required before cutting begins, and the purchase is final if the diamond meets promised specs.
Can I also request a custom-colored gemstone?
Yes—custom cutting a gemstone is possible. As it can be difficult to color match to your vision, we offer a Custom Gem Request process to either custom cut or track down an existing stone that meets your preferences perfectly.
