What does a buffalo eat?
The American “buffalo” is more correctly called a bison. True buffalo live in Africa and Asia, and they look very different from bison, which are shaggy and have a pronounced hump on their backs.
The bison’s main predator is the wolf. But it is not easy for wolves to kill a buffalos in order to eat it. It always takes an entire pack of wolves working in cooperation in order to bring a buffalos down.
Grizzly bears sometimes kill and eat buffalos as well.
