Thanks for the webpage ” Human Evolution: What The Fossil Records Say About Our Ancestors”. I’m just a retired Australian engineer/sailor, but reading David Reich’s 2018 book “Who are we and how we got here” caused me to meander further into human evolution on the Internet , and indeed into exactly how DNA is inherited etc, which, having never formally studied biology I really knew very little about (even though my daughter did her PhD researching into ancient Mt DNA of N American bears!)
Anyway your reference to more recent human DNA evidence from Africa added to my sketchy understanding of the subject.
