What eats kangaroos?

What do kangaroo eat?

Tens of thousands of years ago, before the first humans arrived in Australia, kangaroo had many fierce natural predators. Those large, native Australian carnivores—or meat-eating animals—were all hunted to extinction by human beings.

But those first people also introduced the first dogs to Australia. Some of the dogs escaped and became the wild dogs of Australia that are now known as dingoes.

The dingo is the kangaroo new predator. Few other animals aside from humans and dingoes kill and eat Australia’s many types of kangaroo.

As for the question of what a kangaroo eats—kangaroos are browsers, and they eat a variety of leaves and other vegetation.
