Holarctic Crow Species
- Common Raven (Corvus corax) – Found across the northern hemisphere. It is the most widely distributed of all crows
- Pied Raven, (Corvus corax varius morpha leucophaeus (a color variant) – Previously found on the Faroe Islands (situated halfway between Scotland and Iceland.). Considered extinct since mid-20th Century.
North and Central American Crow Species
- American Crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos) – Found in the United States, southern Canada, and Northern Mexico
- Chihuahuan Raven (Corvus cryptoleucus) –
- Fish Crow (Corvus ossifragus), – Found on the Eastern U.S. coast, Southeastern U.S. through Florida, west along major rivers to Oklahoma and Texas
- Northwestern Crow (Corvus caurinus) – Found from the Olympic Peninsula to Southwest Alaska
- Tamaulipas Crow (Corvus imparatus) – Found in the Gulf of Mexico coast from Nuevo León east to Rio Grande delta, south to Tampico, Tamaulipas
