In 2012, we were one of the first jewelers to sell lab grown diamonds, which use advanced technologies that mimic the conditions under which natural diamonds form. Lab diamonds are an innovative, mining-free option—but both our lab and natural diamonds meet our high standards for quality. Though there are variations in carat, clarity, color, and cut amongst all diamonds, lab and natural diamonds are otherwise physically, chemically, and optically identical.

We work closely with polishers and cutters who have been evaluated for safe and responsible working conditions.
Where Does Brilliant Earth Get Diamonds From?
Brilliant Earth’s natural diamonds are sourced from conflict-free areas. We follow a strict vendor selection process and collaborate closely with our suppliers to ensure transparent and traceable sourcing practices. Each of our suppliers demonstrates a robust chain of custody protocol for their diamonds so we can track diamonds based on origin.
