The following Kingfishers occur naturally in the Philippines:

Hombron’s Kingfisher or Blue-capped Kingfisher (Actenoides hombroni)

Indigo-banded Kingfisher (Alcedo cyanopectus) – Endemic to the Philippines – generally uncommon but locally common resident of the northern and central islands

Philippine Dwarf Kingfisher (Ceyx melanurus)

Ruddy Kingfisher (Halcyon coromanda)

Rufous-backed Kingfisher (Ceyx rufidorsa) – Found in tropical lowland forests near lakeshores and streamsides

Silvery Kingfisher (Alcedo argentata)

Spotted Wood Kingfisher (Actenoides lindsayi)
